The walkway I so often use was flooded after the snow melt and the rain. Looking at the path under water reminded me that God never promised a trouble free life. What he does promise is that when we face difficult and dark times in our life, when we feel overwhelmed, God will be with us and in his strength we can walk through them by holding fast to his infinite love and tender care.
